Denton, Texas-based no-wave/post-punk/left-of-field outfit Bukkake Moms is an award-winner. In 2011, they hoisted an invisible statuette for “Most Obnoxious Band of Bruce Hall.” In 2013, they made room on the nonexistent trophy shelf after “this really weird looking dude who likes Reverend Horton Heat said Bukkake Moms were worthless.” In 2014, the Moms’ won Dallas’ D Magazine’s “Best Local Band, Reader’s Choice” award. (It was kind of actually a bonafide award.)

Bukkake Moms, which formed in 2009, blends absurdist lyrics with sexual themes in strangely catchy songs that are tightly composed one moment before falling apart into improvised, noise-rock shrapnel the next.

Thanksgiving With the Clowns is the Moms’ eighth full-length studio release, but the first on vinyl. For fans of Arab on Radar, Fat Worm of Error, jokes about cum.
